When you create an account we store your email address and a hashed password. If you join our waitlist, we store the email you provide. We collect usage analytics (pages visited, errors encountered) to improve the product.
Your data is used to operate the service, notify you about launches or important account events, and troubleshoot problems. We do not sell your personal information.
We rely on infrastructure providers to run the service: Convex and Vercel (hosting & database), Resend (email delivery), PostHog (product analytics), Polar (subscription billing), Anthropic (retells the daily facts before publication - it never receives reader data), and Wikipedia/Wikimedia (fact sources & images). Your data is shared with them only as needed to provide the service, and we do not sell your personal information.
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting hello@dailypedia.app.
